Development of Plan Vivo Agriculture and Forestry Carbon Benefit Assessment Methodology

Version 5 of the Plan Vivo Standard introduced a new set of Methodology Requirements that describe high-level requirements for Identifying a Baseline Scenario; Estimating Net-GHG under the Baseline Scenario; Demonstrating Additionality; Estimating Expected Carbon Benefits; Assessing and mitigating the risk of Leakage; and Monitoring Carbon Benefits achieved.

TLLG coordinated a series of working groups and drafted a modular methodology that can be used by Plan Vivo projects, and that provides a framework for integrating new approaches proposed by projects.
